    glad i have good friends--a friend of mine said that the warehouse was throwing bar soap away and if i wanted some i better hurry-glad i did i got 234 bars of soap in the doxs -dove,dial,zest and caress plus about a dozen bottles of sauve shampoo -most was already gone but i don't mind getting dirty now ive got a 2 year supply or more woohoo more to stockpile

    over stock and they were cleaning house she said that they had it pastr the time for storing for the company and the owners said to dump it oh well wast not want not-had 20 cases of salad dressing gave to me last year -kept 4 and gave the other 16 away too much for me to keep and use

    I'm glad you got the freebies...but it infuriates me that businesses will throw stuff away rather than donate it to a food bank or shelter???

    I agree, I'm glad you were able to benefit from this, but I also wish more businesses would donate to food banks and shelters rather than throw things away. In their defense, though, I believe some food banks or shelters have rules on what they can take since they're serving the public?

    Agree with the others...very happy for you but stinks for people who need it and can barely if at all afford it.
    Still, again, happy for you.

    i know just what all of you are saying for 14 years till this last jan.i helped run a food bank/clothing drive/toy drive/blanket drive then most started to not accept the things (guess they didn't want to help other any more) so we had to close the bank down -i still pass on things to the churches if they contact me i did this with my own time and money for gas but most of these so called places are just wanting A tax cut its so sad --im just to old (62) to be chasing giants and tipping over windmills ill still help others i will just pick the really need help i pray to the great spirit to guide me is all
