    just got back from my favorite used book store and i found an old paperback book titled-farm journal's freezing and canning cookbook-it has recipes and canning guides for just about any canning and recipes for serving meals ---woo hoo and only 75 cents -lots of reading ahead

    Great find!

    Anything titled Farm Journal, I like. Their cook books are great! Some of my best recipes come out of a FJ cook book.

    Awesome find! Since joining this forum, I have started looking closer at used books I used to pass up. I'm glad, because I have found some really neat older books! I will have to keep my eye out for that one it sounds fun!! Do you have the book Putting Food By? It is a really neat read too.

    I've never heard of the Farm Journals....wonder what thtey have at my favorite bookstore - will check it out next time I stop by. Mahalo for the ideas!!
