Antique Store Finds!
First I wandered by a booth that had a classic 1960s wood/metal bar stool for $1 and of course I had to have that.
Then I found a booth of someone who was apparently pulling out of the antique store and I got 2 baskets and 3 enamel pots, for $1 each.
Then I found a booth with a 1/2 off sale, and got a sad iron for $2.50!
I spent $8.50 for 8 things! The basket will be used for display until I decide to sell them. The sad iron is for a bookend, the enamel pots will probably go out as a set for sale too, I don't need them.\
I'll tell you I was psyched! I went to two consignment/antique stores after that, but no one had deals like I'd gotten, so I didn't spend a dime.

~I would love to see that stool! I have a retro kitchen and I'm looking for a Cosco stool right now but at $1 I'd probably have "settled".
You got the deals of the week I think!~~Constance

What fun - you got the deals and we got the great story - only thing that would make it all perfect would be pictures!! Hint hint

Okay. It's pitch black outside now...and one of my "jobs" tomorrow is to look at the stool with the notion of stripping the varnish (and oops paint) off the wood and rust off the metal on the stool so I can start "bringing it back."
One of the baskets got filled with huck towels that I took for sale today, but they didn't sell, neither did the enamel pans.
Okay, I'll clean everything up and take pics tomorrow!
