The thrift shops here are bursting at the doors with clothes. Either everyone is clearing out for the Holidays or no one is buying.

agree ann. there is ALOT of stuff to go thru! but as i have stated, i pretty much LABEL shop while thrifting. always on the hunt for the high end names at a fabulous price! i usually go to both at least once a week and it is ALWAYS crowded and there is usually at least 5 - 6 people in line at a time!

the hospice resale is pricier than SA and GW...some is WAY overpriced. so i like when they have SALE days.

i personally think people are buying...everyone is looking for a bargain! and, the economy is looking up or so they say.

Great deals! I am finding our thrift stores have been packed to the rafters with stuff and people! Makes it difficult and sometimes stressful when shopping there. Hmmmmm, might have to stop there today!

~Ooo you're making me itch to thrift!
I'm curious how you know things are unworn? I love finding things with tags still on them but I just assume everything else has been previously worn.~

nuisance - i can tell it is unworn if the tag is still attached, or if the tag is not there, sometimes the plastic thingies that attatch store tags are there. i also inspect every piece for signs of use. i look for no pilling, no stains, no larger button holes due to usage, the quality of the coloring.
