Found a super find for us! Super Happy
I found at Goodwill today or I should say they found me. I walked right up the children's section and straight to these.
Hanna Anddersson long john Pj's
like these Long Johns In Organic Cotton Product Information
Except in Christmas colors Green strips red trim they are Organic cotton and tested for purity
Hanna's long john's are our favorites here, especially for my sensitive skin daughter. Sometimes they are the only pj's that don't make her itch, especially during a flare up. So we always have a least one pair in the drawer even if it means full price and rearranging the budget.
So I was super happy to find these in the next size up for her, and they are new looking. about 90% off retail price

It was so strange I hadn't planned on going to the Goodwill but had some down time between errands before heading to Little Miss's music class performance and I was right next door at the time. So I popped in a kill a few minutes ( about 5 to 10). I walked right to the children section. They were about half the rack down but there was a space between them and the ones next to them so they were in full view. I recognized them right away."Everyday as your walking down the street, everybody that you met has an original point of view" -Arthur PBS

Their stuff is so soft. We have been in love with them since Little Miss was a toddler. When we received some as hand me downs from my SIL.
They are very well made too. We have always been able to wear something for at least two years before out growing them. Great growing room, especially in the play dresses. When we out grow them we pass them down to our friend who has four girls. So they keep on going.Last edited by imagine; 01-28-2011 at 09:48 PM.

I believes that Little Miss thinks this shopping is normal.
Examples:
When it was time to get a bed frame for her. I ask what she would wish for. Wood with pretty posts and flowers on it. That was just like the one I had as a child ( Little Miss had never seen it) my mom still had it in her basement and handed it down to us (after buying for us a new metal frame for it)
Little Miss's wanted a Little Mommy doll been eyeing it for months But never saved up the $10 or so dollars. One day at the Goodwill she brings up a very dirty no clothes doll priced 49 cents. I try to talk her out of it but she really wanted to buy it with her own money. I say it says surface washable but we would have to machine wash it. She agrees it is worth the risk for 49 cents. It turns out perfect looking new after a wash. It ended up being a Little mommy doll. Named her Kaite.
The same thing happened when she needed a new blanket two different times. The first time she said she was wishing for a quilt. Headed to the Goodwill to use a going to expire $5 off coupon. Found there that day a quilt and it matched her room and new bed perfectly. It had candy stains on it but washed up looking like new Cost $1.50 after coupon I splurged and bought the matching sham for $2. The other time was when she needed another quilt ( it is chilly in her room) She was wishing for a soft one like her security blanket but twin bed size. Shortly after that time Aldi's had one as a special buy.
See I think Little Miss thinks finding the perfect thing is normal not super mom status."Everyday as your walking down the street, everybody that you met has an original point of view" -Arthur PBS

I like the way you shop Imagine. It seems to me that you keep a running list of things that you are looking for when you shop. I havent went thrift shopping/garage selling this year because I used to buy things I didnt need just because it was cheap and then I had clutter and I had spent alot of $ I didnt need to. Do you keep a little notebook in your purse or something?or do you just keep it in your mind? How do you avoid wasting $ on things you really dont need?
