My designer purse finds

Went to Gw found a LV purse $6.99 and a Fendi $4.99. The lv i took to a local person that knows about the purses and she said the lv is the real deal and sold 2 years ago for $900

She said the Fendi is around 10 years old but in really great condition. Why oh Why do people give these away.

Probably found them cleaning out grandma's house after she passed away. Personally, a lot of those "designer" bags aren't my style, I'd probably take it to Goodwill, too.

I don't normally buy designer purses. But these were really nice.The LV is the denim collection.

I don't buy designer now either unless it's a deal at a thrift store. Today at Kmart they had 3.99 fall purses and wallets on sale. I bought 4.

Great price.

Nice find! With the LV...you can tell it's real, if there is a serial number on the inside...Not sure about the Fendi. I buy Coach from the outlet store near my house. They regularly, email 20-30% off coupons, on top of their already reduced prices. I splurge about once a year and set aside some money from my taxes to pay for them. The quality can't be beat.

Even some of the knockoffs have serial numbers...I am a designer handbags junkie. Lol. Handbags are my thang. Post a pic, love to see it!

Yep! I just got back from SE Asia where I've been in my share of "secret" knockoff purse back rooms. I was also in the LV, Prada, etc. stores in Bangkok and the high-end knockoffs are so good that you'd practically need to work for the Designer in order to tell the difference on sight. There's obviously a huge difference in quality of materials and construction, but the fakes come with serial numbers, dust bags, certificates of authenticity, etc.

Yes! Some even have fake receipts.
