Girls Day Out!
Yep, my friend and I have our "Girls Day Out" thrift store style!

We got some GREAT deals today! I'm so excited!!!
I found snow pants for my nephew for only $3.50, a Pur pitcher (ours is about to fall apart) for $1.99, Rit dye for 50 cents, a travel mug (mine just died last week) for $1.99 - and it was BRAND NEW!
I've been trying to (slowly) put together some dressy clothes and jewelry for when I have to go to business events/parties with my Dh (he's an accountant in a big firm). I had NOTHING like that...no, not really even much in the way of jewelry (I've been a tomboy most of my life). Well, today I found a set of bracelets that is exactly what I was looking at with another friend (she's my fashion friend) a few months ago...but at the thrift store! They're in like new condition and I only spent $2.99!!
And a necklace, too (same situation) for $1.99!! All very dressy/fancy! Woot!
Happy camper! What a fun & frugal day!!

Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

I love to find just what I need! Nothing feels better to me than adding up how much more I would have had to spend at the mall for what I just got at the thrift store.
