New ice cream maker $78.87
The ad I just got advertises an "Old Fashioned Ice Cream Maker" makes 6 quarts by traditional hand-crank or electric motor (included); can also crush ice. Sale Price $78.87.
YIKES!!! I nearly fell outta my chair when I saw this.
If anyone sees a hand crank one 2nd hand for cheap, you might want to pick it up if you need an ice cream maker.

I have never seen one. (since I was a kid). I frequent a lot of barn sales, estate sales and flea markets.
I got that electric one w/ 2 buckets a few years ago for $20. at a G.sale though. The other night QVC had the Ninja that made ice cream for cheap and super quick.
Try e-bay and maybe Amish sales. Would Lehmans sell one -not cheap either I imagine.
Lehmans start a t $59.95 and go up to $395.

Second hand would be the way to go. Search amazon for ice cream maker to see the range of prices. I personally would not get the cheapest or more expensive ones. But that puts the middle-of-the-road ones between $70 and $150.

We use it occasionally and it seems to work well. I believe they still sell them at places like Target or Walmart.Use it up, Wear it out,
Make it do, Or do without. ~unknown
