Default I just LOVE church thrift shops!

Found a new one last weekend and got some Nippon lusterware for the booth, not dead cheap, but cheap enough that I could get it for the antique booth no problem.

This week, I stopped at one of the place I regularly find jeans for my rugs. Didn't find a pair of jeans that would suit, but I found a linen dress, side pockets, shell/bone or high-end plastic buttons, $2

    I am jazzed!

~I love them too! It seems those and the ones run by healthcare services are the only ones that seem to want to help the person buying as much as the cause they raise money for.
I'm going to one on tomorrow after a long break and I am so excited!~

Wish we had some here - there is one on the other side of the island and up the other mountain - okay it takes a while to get there - but you know, this is summer and I'm going to check out their hours and fit it in!! Mahalo for the push!!

Default designer purses for next to nothing :)

I found a brand new Stone Mountain Handbag for $4.99 at a local thrift store last month. I nearly fainted. It's in style that works for me too, not trendy, just pratical. Of course well made and that "soft as butter" leather to die for.

I had found a gently used one at a thrift store years ago and loved it. I actually had no idea what it was until my Mom looked at the label and said WOW! I carried it for several years.

We frugal shoppers sometimes get filet mignon for pennies a pound!
