Big 127 yard sale this week.

Its the one on Hwy 127 and is 675 miles long now. Yard sales are set up everywhere. Sadly I may miss it this year. I've had vertigo since Thursday of last week and although I'm feeling some better I'm not sure I'm up for it because of the heat.

Anyone ever gotten to go?

I go every year. I was there today. I go on Lookout mountain. I bought some things today. I got a pair of born sandels that were like new for 2.00. these are 80.00 dollar shoes and you can tell they were hardly worn. Bought some shirts for boys. I got a 140.00 worth of Bobbi Brown eyeshadow for 3.50 cents. I said I'd never bought used make-up. This was pretty much new. Like they didn't like the color. TC

Never went because its so far but once the kids fly I may camp and sale,sale,sale down there.

I wished all of you lived closer to it. It is only about 15 min from my house to the sale. I don't do the entire sale all the miles. I get to go every year. TC

I asked my boys if they wanted to go this weekend - it's about
1 hr to Alabama.

Sophia thank you. I live less than 10 minutes from 127. I live in the town that started the sale. I sure hope I get well enough to go out for a least a little while.

Hope all of you that have it on your bucket list get to go some day. I always get out and go to at least the local sales. There are 100's of them just in my area alone. My sis has a sale set up at her home.

BTW Sophia I have a pair of Born shoes that I found at a yard sale a few years ago and I'm still wearing them. Those boogers last. My favorite flats. I paid $3.00 for them.

If there's anyone from the Gadsen, Alabama area, please help me with directions.

It's a straight shot for me to get to the Alabama line, but I don't see on the map how to get to 127 from the Ga line -

I just need some landmarks, or an address to put into my GPS -

I told my mom they felt like your walking on air. I was real excited to find them. I'd bought me a couple of pair of clark sandels at yard sales a couple of mths ago. I paid 1.00 for 1 pair and 3.00 for the others. TC
