    Talking Juicer score!

~My mom was shopping through her friends for a used juicer and was offered two. I've been casually shopping for one as well and had planned to purchase in about 6 months. Well this deal was too good to pass up.

One of her friends had a never used Jack Lalanne juicer in the original packaging/with all the inserts and she only wanted $50 for it.
I need DH to help me get the blade off(they screw that on tight!)so I can make some fresh juice tonight. Yay!~

Great deal. I've been wanting a juicer too.

Happy juicing. Let me know how you like it.

    What are you juicing first?

~I'm starting with an apple/white grape blend. Then I'm trying a tomato/celery/carrot blend. This is going to be way to much fun!~

    Thats a great score!!

We have that one and love it but the pain is the cleaning - still worth it though. We love carrot juice.

Just picked up a juicemaster pro at a thrift store near my mother-in-law's for $4. There are usually 5-6 juicers around that price, nothing fancy like a Jack LeLanne, but it should do the trick. My MIL has a bunch of apple trees and doesn't do anything with the apples, they just rot on the ground. So we planned to come out this time of year when they are ripe, and make juice out of them to take home. I also have a strong feeling that a WHOLE LOT of it may end up as hard apple cider

Now I just have to give this second hand juicer a good cleaning and get to picking apples.
