Good for you, Stephanie! I love getting stuff like that for cheap. I'd love a good tool cabinet but have nowhere to put it. Sure would be handy, though.
I like Craftsman stuff too, and I know Snap-On is high end stuff.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

That seems high for the drill press, but I don't know all that much about them. Mine is a cheapie from Ace Hardware, some weird brand. We paid about $60 for it. You could check out Sears: Online department store featuring appliances, tools, fitness equipment and more and see what a new comparable one costs. Maybe take the Sears ad for the new one to show the lady if new ones are cheaper. Then again, Sears tools were made a lot better twenty years ago.
Sounds like you got the perfect deal for your son and his reward for his grades. Nice find!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I'll bet her spouse is smiling in his grave knowing his wife sold he stuff to someone who has a great appreciation for it.
