Default Got A Free Bike At The Thrift Store Today

My little one needed a new bike and DH couldn't keep fixing his old one. Went to a thrift store today and found one for 4.95. Also a Halloween costume for 3.95.

Well, if you put a quarter in the bumble gum machine at the front of the store and a red one comes out, they give you 5 bucks off your total purchase. I got a red one on the first try!!

Free bike and he loves it!!! Well I guess it really only cost us a quarter.

Wonderful deal. Happy biking for your little one. Love that gumball idea. Will store it away in my mind and maybe use a similar concept here at home sometime for the kids.

I got a free broken toe. lol At friend called and told me her cousin was cleaning out her grandmothers house and to come see if there was anything I could use. I went, found 2 very large piles of stuff in yard. Moved a mattress and found a beautiful victorian eastlake table! Also a victorian dressing table missing small drawer front on top, 2 very old step stool, vintage alarm clock and beautiful stacked bubble candlestick lamo (have to replace cord) To make a long story short..when I went to unload that beautiful table, the top fell off straight down on my big toe. Dropped me to the ground very quickly also. (grin) So I have all this free great stuff plus a broken toe. So sad for me that my job is on the second floor in the most remote part of building. I am now nick named "hop-a-long"
