Great thrift store buys
I went to thrift store yesterday. I got some great deals. I bought a gray pea-coat that was wool for 9.98 like brand new. Same coat sells from 79.98 to 179.00 depending on where you buy it. I spent 52.00 and bought 1 dress, 1 pair of jeans and a pair of dress slacks( the jeans and pants I was thrilled to find they were long enough as I need a 36 length.) 3 sweaters(1 still had new tags on reg 50.00) 2 skirts 9tops a 10 commandment bracelet and a necklace. and the coat. I hope you all have a wonderful day. TC

Great finds! I share your excitement about finding jeans in a 36" length - my 12 y.o. daughter needs jeans in 7L or 9L depending on the brand, they have to be 34" minimum, 36" is far better for her. Went out looking for black pants last night, she has a choral concert tonight and realized she has to have black pants, socks, and shoes (nothing like thinking about it last minute LOL). So we headed to St. Vinnies as there is no reason to pay full price for pants she will wear once or twice only for this purpose.
Found her a decent pair of black pants in 7L and while she was trying those on, found her a good pair of jeans in 9L; she tried both on and she is set to go. Both pair totaled $8.
Bonus: While she was in the fitting room, I found a pair of Born mary janes for less than $5 that she can wear for the concert and then Mom (me) can have afterwards
Had a g/c balance of nearly $3 left, got my $5 reward for hitting the $50 mark with this purchase (keeps adding every time you purchase), paid a little over $5 and went home happy!!3/26 Afghan #3: 58 done of 191 rows
