Smile You never know what you will find at the thrift store - happy with my find

I have been on the look out for t shirts/ shirts for summer. I need longer shirts. They seem hard to find.

Yesterday at Goodwill in the display area, not the racks. I found a brand new with tags t shirt and it even still had a factory sticker that says "New Longer Length".

It was in my size and looked beautiful on me, so I bought it for $4.49

I looked on line and the company has it on their website listed under NEW ARRIVALS and would have cost me $7.99 plus shipping.

Oh my, I found this current spring and summer style new with tags at the goodwill

Hard to imagine. You never know what you will find when you go to the Thrift store.

And that's the lure for me. It's far more interesting to shop there than a retail store, where everything is the same old, same old.

You got that right. Tonight I got a splatter/drip guard for my DD's new kitchen aide mixer. $2.12 in the box.
The other day I picked up 5 "pooh bear" books for .20 a piece.

~Nice! That's so fun when that happens.
T-shirt shopping is now more of a pain than jeans for me: right length, not too tight but with a feminine shape, sleeves not too long and definitely not too short and not baggy. And then you have to hope it doesn't shrink on you when you wash it.
I got some St. John's Bay tees last summer that fit the bill for $3.50 each. Great sale and a coupon. ~

I love thrift shops whether it's Goodwill or not. Before Christmas I decided to look for dressers for 2 of the grandkids. Found 2 at Use It Again Thrift Shop for $85, which for solid wood dressers is a steal. Bought them, brought them home, painted them in the grandkids favorite colors, added fairy decals to gd's and we delivered them on Christmas Eve day.

Told both the little rugbrats that those dressers made it for over 50 years and they'd darned well better make it through them . They absolutely loved their dressers and now their rooms are neater.
