Awesome thrift store finds yesterday!!
I am so excited!! I got some awesome stuff yesterday. A few things I have been looking for, and a few extras. Here is what I got:
Outward Hound dog life vest size Med like new! $3.00 (retails $20.99)
Outward Hound fanny pack with water bottles for myself and dog with foldable dog water bowl like new! $5.00 (retails $32.60)
Men's Inline skates (been looking for some and they fit!!) Ds can borrow them even though they are a little bit big on him until I can get him a pair. They look new! $9.99 (retails $109.99-$140)
Yaley Candle making kit. It has a few minor things missing, like a few wicks and some wax and minor things. It has one extra candle mould with it! $1.91 (retails $24.99)
Euro Pro toaster oven. Needs a good cleaning but works great and is not a tiny one. I have been looking for one. $8 (retails around $50)
Foodaver V2830 model in great shape, works!! Came with a roll of bags. I have a foodsaver but it isn't as nice and it has had trouble with not wanting to work in the past. I paid only $4.94!!!! I am serious, less than $5.00!!
At the same store, I got 2 bags of foodsaver accessories. They were marked as one lot in two bags. Here is what was in the two big bags: 2 rolls of bags, a package of the ready-made bags, instructions for the foodsaver V2830, 3 Large canisters, 3 medium canisters, 3 small canisters, 1 short canister, 1- 1 qt rectangular dish, 1- 1 1/2 qt rectangular dish, 3 microwavable rectangular dishes, 3 canning jar attachments (all the same size), 2 large universal vacutop lids, 1 small universal vacutop lid, 3 bottle stoppers, 4 hoses and all the hose accessories and instructions. I guess the same person donated the foodsaver as well as all the accessories. It would take me forever to figure out how much all the accessories origninally cost because I think they bought them in groups. How much did I pay for all of this? $8.98!!!
I also got a few books. Four of the books are about fish and fishing. I got them for my son and I will be putting them away for Easter! The others are just some small cookbooks for me.

I have pretty much all the FoodSaver stuff you listed and I can tell you I paid a LOT more than $9! What a steal! I just paid $10 for the three bottle stoppers alone (which work great, btw) recently.
Wow, you did great! Congrats on that haul. I can see why you're so excited about it all. I would be too!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ours usually aren't either. That's one reason I am so surprised how I lucked out! I got the foodsaver stuff at Goodwill which is usually one of the most expensive places to shop here. We went to Clearwater and Tampa to the thrift stores because they are better than the ones closer to my house. The one right up the street from me is ridiculous with their prices. I think whoever priced the foodsaver stuff had no idea what it was or how much it normally costs. Either way I am not complaining lol!
