For the second day this week, I didn't find a single thing to buy at Goodwill. Good news because I'm trying to declutter.

But I did get a nearly full bottle of Snow Proof to spray my mukluks. I just ran out this spring and have been meaning to spend the $15 for a new bottle. I got this bottle at a garage sale. It was marked a nickel but the seller didn't have change, so just gave it to me. I didn't even care how filthy the bottle was! I also got a ceiling light, NIP, to replace a broken one in our laundry area for $3.

At another sale, I picked up a set of Tupperware popsicle molds for $1. I now have ten of those, my preferred kind, and eight of some others I'll get rid of once I collect more of the T-ware kind.

Not much else for bargains, but that's a good thing. We're way ahead for the week since we dropped of a lot of donations this week, so a lot more went out than came in.

Hi Spirit Deer, WTG!
I went to the GW too. Found a microwave popcorn popper for 1.20. This will go in the camper. I also needed 2 dinner plates for my garden. Same size of plate, same brand, 1 plate had pink flowers & the other had blue. 1 was a $1 the other was 50c. I asked is this right? The cashier said "it depends who's pricing the stuff when it comes in" and they have to charge what's on the item. SO.. pricing is the discretion of the employee. hmmmm......

It's great stuff. It makes a huge difference in how much dirt something picks up too, so I use it on various other items, but mostly on my moosehide muks and mocs. It makes the water bead up instead of soaking through the leather and helps keep it looking new and clean.

So.......how long does the S. Proof last? For both.....when you put it on your shoes and the bottle? I bet that would be good on my moccasins too..........help keep them clean, even though they aren't out in the snow.........they are sometimes in rain. Have a suede pair and a smooth leather pair.

Snow Proof lasts a season, but probably less if you wear the shoes a lot. A bottle lasts me several years and we have probably a dozen pairs of mocs and muks between us, including my husband's knee-high moosehide size 13 muks. That's a LOT of leather!
