Today we hit some garage sales and GW, of course.
At GW, I picked up It's All About Scrapbooking a 560-page book not including a bunch of tear-out scrapbook pages. That was $2. I also bought three cute purple polka dot heart-shaped plates for $1.50. Probably shouldn't have but I did. They were too cute and I couldn't resist.
At garage sales, I got another scrapbooking book for $1, and a fifty cent packcloth tool case I'll probably modify to use in the camper bathroom.
One of the best deals was a Garden Claw for $2. I've been wanting a short one to use on our table garden and other taller containers, and this one will be easy to modify into a short version, which I haven't been able to find anywhere in the US. So I'm very happy about that.
The other thing I got that I'm happy about is a Sticky Buddy, NIB for $2. I've seen these advertised but being the skeptic I am, I tend not to have enough faith in anything being sold by people yelling at me to actually plunk down the $20 or whatever it would have cost to buy one from the TV. But it's worth $2 to me to give it a try. It even has the instruction sheet with it, along with the travel-size Sticky Buddy. So now I get to find out if it works.
Nothing too exciting, but it was still fun to look.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sooooooooo..............what is this? I must have missed the 'Only on TV" ad.............clue me in. Maybe I have seen it and missed the name!
I went to a BAG SALE yesterday...........from the rummage sale that I went to last week. It was $2 a bag.........got more wool and for that price I will gamble on the amt. of wool I can cut off/get from jackets so I started getting them all. They used the large paper bags from one of the groc. stores and---get this----I got EIGHT JACKETS in one bag..............that is 25 cents a piece!!!!
How is THAT for cramming???? It was HEAPED........but they didn't say anything, they just wanted to get rid of the stuff. Left with two bags...........

Good deal on the bag sale! I love that kind of stuff.
Since a pic is worth a thousand words, try this. WARNING! Screaming ad video enclosed: https://stickybuddy.com/?uid=7FDDC87...16C24DE742E79F
We have a husky and five cats, so you can imagine how much of those disposable sticky rollers we go through. So I'm really hoping the Sticky Buddy works as advertised, although it'll surprise me if it actually does.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I can't recall seeing that ad.........but unless it has some sort of 'catchy tune'.........(or a duck or mouse) in it, I forget them quickly.
Will be curious to see how it does work.
I see those "as seen on TV' displays in Rite Aid sometimes. Think we have a store, up north, literally selling the things on TV........someone told me it is called the As seen on TV store....(duh)....go figure. Never been to it.

There's an "As seen on TV" website. Our local Pamida store, now defunct and turning into a Shopko, had a section for "As seen on TV" stuff.

Dreamsicle recipe update:
So I made the dreamsicles using SF orange Jell-O, FF-SF pudding mix, and a cup of FF plain yogurt. I have to give this recipe only so-so rating. The Jell-O makes them sort of slimy and I think there's too much artificial sweetener using both the Jell-O and pudding mix.
The batch made thirteen dreamsicles.
I'm not giving up though. Next I'm going to try using unsweetened Kool-Aid instead of the Jell-O, the pudding, and two and a half cups of skim milk or FF plain yogurt. I loved the chocolate pudding pops I made a while ago and I don't see why using vanilla pudding for the creaminess and orange Kool-Aid for the flavor wouldn't work. I like dreamsicles too much not to come up with a decent recipe.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Spirit Deer, let me know how the stickybuddy works out. To much cat hair here. Constantly feel like I am taking it off of clothes especially in the winter time.

Oh..........interesting..........thanks for update.
Jello is really sweet....and I can pass on "slime" thank you,.........like you said, maybe orange K aid........the van pudding.........and greek yog. My thinking being that the G Yog might cut any overly sweet taste..............have seen a honey G Y and a vanilla that might be good.
Me too, like sho said,............on the sticky buddy..............actually saw the commercial last night. It was on a channel that I don't watch much......and had almost missed it but heard the name, and from us talking on here...........my head popped up...........sort of funny. Otherwise, would have totally spaced it out.

Since the Kool-Aid isn't sweetened, I think it's worth a try. My thinking at this point is that the pudding would have enough sweetener without anything else, and the Kool-Aid would just add the orange flavor. The pudding pops had a nice amount of sweetness so I don't see how that would change unless the Kool-Aid mix is bitter or something. We'll see. I might have to use a part of the Kool-Aid packet instead of all of it, since it makes a half gallon and the pudding pops only makes 2 to 3 cups.
It'll take me a while to eat up the ones I made today, but then I'll tinker.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The dreamsicles taste better today. Maybe they weren't frozen quite hard enough yesterday so became a bit slimy because of that. I still think they should be creamier though, to be more like the store-bought ones, so will be trying the Kool-Aid idea. Basically I want an orange-flavored pudding pop. The original recipe does call for Cool-Whip, so maybe subbing yogurt wasn't the right thing to do. Greek yogurt might make it creamier, too.
I tried the mini Sticky Buddy today and it worked okay. It's a little bit of work to rinse the hair off of it though. It doesn't just rinse off like the ad implies, but I figured that. It dried off and it's sticky again, so I guess it works. It's worth taking up space in the camper at any rate, and believe me, every item going in there has to earn its keep.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
