When dh and I married my mother gave me her Candlewick Crystal cakeplate and matching bowl. I use them for all special occasions.
Well, we went to an auction with friends yesterday. They had a bunch of candlwick crystal. Some really unusual pieces. Several of which I could not even touch the price!!(Dealers).
I bought a smaller cakeplate, a large shallow bowl, and a large 4-way divided relish and a small 2 way divided relish. I paid $12 - $15 for each piece.
When I called my mom to tell her she says I did really well on the prices. I was disapointed there was a long rectangular divided relish but it went for almost $100 and I really wanted it!!!
Still and all I am thrilled!

Wow! Those are some good deals. I love adding new pieces to pieces that have memories. We inherited some Iris and Herringbone glasses from my husbands grandmother, and I have slowly been adding some pieces when I can get good deals.
