Default Ok I won the power unit but I have another question re: ebay

If it doesn't go all the way up to your maximum bid then why did it go to mine, when the bid before mine wasn't nearly that high (like by $10 or so)? I told ya I was a newbie. I'm happy I won though. I love that Oster kitchen center, but now I'm into it for a pretty penny. It needs to last the rest of my life !

I will try to explain it. I hope I can make it understandable. Example: Bid is at 10.00 you put in your highbid at 20.00 so it raises to 10.25 with you as high bidder. If the next person bids 10.50 then it will keep you as high bidder at 10.75, but if someone bid 19.75 as a high bid then it raised your bid to 20.00 your max. I hope this helps. Hang in there it took me a while to get the hang of it.

Well put! Couldn't have explained it better myself.

BTW - Congratulations on winning!
