My Mom's antique shoes....
While at Mom's today I took pictures of her antique shoes. These were found in the house when they bought it 40 years ago. They are childrens shoes and about 5" tall.
The first pair is a little boys and they have a brass toe plates that say 1857 on them.~~ Dee ~~

I picked up three pairs of little shoes, last summer at a yard sale, they're not quite as nice as yours tho...
I wanted to give a pair to my mother, but couldn't decide which ones, so I let her pick, she chose the olice green cordory ones, they were my favorite too...ha...

I honestly don't know how old Mom & Dad's house is. I do remember the people they bought it from. I was 4 when we moved in and the old couple was in thier late 70's or 80's and couldn't handle a home with a big yard and driveway to take care of anymore. I don't remember if they were found in the attic or basement.

That's just one of the perks to buying an old home. When I bought my old farm I found a lot of treasures. I found some shoe forms, a tin train set in an old wooden lock box, an old cigarette tin and much more. But these items were'nt in the house, I found them in the barn in a grain ben.
Still have them sitting in my livingroom.
