    Smile My son just discovered a treasure!!!!

    My son Chris was helping a friend move some furniture and came home with an older stereo as his "pay" . He was so excited and said that Miss Valerie told him that it played these things called "albums". Chris then asked me if I had any of those old antique things. LMBO!~ I told him that yes, I had a few and showed him where I kept my old record albums that I cannot stand to part with. He got so excited when he found my beautiful Hawaiian ones and started playing them. He's a huge fan of good Hawaiian music and has now claimed them as his treasure!

    Lol, Debbie! Cds are great and sound a lot better than records, but you can't play a cd at 78 speed or backward for that matter,lol.

    That's a great find! I have a stack of about 150 records.....cd's surely do sound a lot better but oh how those records take me back

    We saw some albums today while at garage sales and Dakota asked me what they were. LOL!!

    I know what you mean by records "taking you back". My mom recorded all the old scratched and staticy sounding Christmas albums for me one year on tape when I was away from home. I still play the tapes at Christmas and refuse to by CD versions of them because it just would not be the same without that scratching sound!
