Any garage sale finds?
Ok, all you garage salers...what have you found lately?
I have found nada lately.
I did pick up at a sale a couple of handcarved wooden ducks for my son to play with. He loves ducks. He had a lot of fun with them, but insisted on bringing them into the store when we went shopping. He then dropped one and the head detached and then he dropped the other which suffered the same fate. *LOL*
You can imagine my son's face when seeing duckie heads.
They were well worth the buck spent but need to be glued. *LOL*

I got a box of little jars and wine glasses to make candles in, and a heart shaped wire basket for free today! I got a pig doll, lightswitch cover and wooden painted knick knack for my sister for $1. I found a few ver nice outfits for my dd, I got a pair of very dark blue, velvety pants for a dime, because someone had bought the top without them earlier. I got 3 baby hand print/photo frame kit things for $1 each. There was an old girls bike on the curb with "FREE" taped to it, but I don't know anyone who could use it right now.

Sweater knitting machine!!?
A little background first. . my 2 middle girls are 11 and 10. I thought I would teach them a little crochet this summer to keep them busy and away from the TV for at least an hour a day. Spent a couple of days teaching them the basic chain until they mastered it then how to go up. Well the 10 year old was going up within a few minutes. her chains were that good. 11 yo well 3 weeks later she can do a circle better than a chain. SO I bought a HUGE bag of yarn for $2
and found about 4 hooks in there as a bonus. My DBIL saw this thought it a good idea and proceeded to buy a Sweater Knitting Machine for $10 everything still in box with directions. Can't figure out how to use it. So it is sitting in a corner collection dust! Anybody want it?
Sorry so long!
