    Default Question about Freecycle

    Hope this is posted in the right place....I signed up for freecycle this morning in my area, and they are supposed to send you an e-mail about your membership, as of yet I have not received one...does anyone know how long it takes to be accepted for membership?...TIA

    each one is a little different. Mine there was no formal sign up, you just followed a link, emailed the owner and she added me. I have heard some that require ypu to fill out a questionairre....with something similar to an essay question. Based on that they add or deny. Now I can't imagine any one denying membership, maybe the owner simply hasn't gotten to their email yet.
