Default Do you yard sale with a list?

I haven't done any yard saling this year because the last thing I need is more junk in my house. But, I need a bookcase and some storage totes, so it got me to thinking - do you have a list of things you are looking for when you go yard saling?

I do, I have a list on my PDA that I refer to frequently when I yard sale. I also have my Christmas and birthday lists on it just in case I find something that is gift worthy.

That doesn't keep me from buying other items, but it does help me stay on track.

Only in my head. I don't carry a list because it would change often and I would lose it lol. But I do go yard saling with an idea of what I'm looking for...and not looking for.

I don't go yard saling often, but when I do, I carry a list to look for gifts for my gift closet and other things that I need/want

I dont use a list but am normally looking for clothing, items suitable for gifts and toys for DGD. I am trying to resist buying items that are "nice" but that I dont need. How can I declutter if I keep shopping! LOL

I go strictly for kids books/clothes/toys, antique linens and antique dishware, occasionally I will phone dh with info on a tool, but I don't think I have ever bought anything else. We don't need anything else.

Sort of - I have a list of series type books that we have (Magic School Bus, Berenstain Bears, Clifford, Magic Tree House, Little House on the Prairie, Pooh, Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys, etc.) that I carry with me and refer to so I don't buy one we already have. Other than that, no I don't take a list.

No. I generally look for clothes & toys for DD, antiques for the house, and plastic organizers that I can use in closets. I'm currently on the lookout for a kid's picnic table. Otherwise, I just go, look around, and see what they have.
