Default Computer in bits and pieces

This is too cool... I got speakers for my new computer today! Ordered the computer without them to save on the purchase price, and then traded a couple hours of house cleaning for a very nice pair of brand-new ones. The local computer geek had them, still in the box, never used, I guess they're last year's model or something and were therefore gathering dust on his shelf It's a Philips Magnavox Multimedia Speaker System, pretty fancy and definitely better stuff than what I'd have gotten with the computer, but for a lot less.

I also didn't get a DVD drive with the computer, but the one from my old machine works perfectly fine, so I took it out of that one and put it in the new one - ta-dah, free DVD drive.

For someone who doesn't really know anything about computers, I made out like a bandit! *Does the Happy Dance*
