Default ? about bag sales at your thrift stores

How big of a bag do your thrift stores give you for a bag sale? Do your stores allow you to include anything from the store in the bag or specific items only?

There is only one thrift store here that does bag sales and you never know when they're going to run one. A couple of years ago the bag they gave was a huge paper bag about 3 feet tall (seriously!). Then about a year ago they reduced the size to a regular brown paper grocery bag. A few months ago they reduced the size further and it's now a regular plastic grocery bag.

As for what is included in the bag sale, here it's clothing items only - no purses, no shoes, no belts, no prom dresses or other clothing items they have deemed 'special', no leather jackets or other leather items, no toys, no books, no games, etc.

The store here charges $3 per bag.

Oh, I forgot to mention......... even though the bag size has reduced over the last couple of years the price has always been $3.

Our local Salvation Army store does this once in a while. It is a regular brown grocery bag, clothing only, and they charge $15!!! I think that is very high. I can never find that much on one visit that I think is worth $15.

Ours is a regular grocery bag and they charge $3. You can put anything in that can go into a bag - no limitations whatsoever.

Ours is a regular brown grocery bag. They charge $5. They probably don't allow you to put in items that are in their display cases, but, other than that, I haven't heard of any limits.
