    Great book finds. I hear ya about the baby clothes. When I was pregnant, there wasn't an article of clothing to be found or any baby gear at the sales I saw. It was crazy. Even on ebay, I'd see the clothing lots being bidded on at such an insane amount of money that I wouldn't even consider bidding.

    Hoping you find some baby bargains soon.

    WTG Kim, great buys on the books. I am sorry you did not find any baby items, maybe tomorrow will be better.

    Talking White mountain freezer

    I went to a flea market and I found a 6 qt crank ice cream maker. I have been looking for one for a long time. I even had the recipe booklet inside.

    I haven't made ice cream since I was a kid and I wanted ds to enjoy it like we used to.

    I got

    * 2 very small Tupperware containers, 4 votive candle holders, and a pkg of chenille stems -- $2.

    * mermaid costume -- $1

    * pair of shorts and 2 shirts for me $2.50

    * 2 sweaters for me; grammar workbook; dolphin puzzle; and fanciful fish mobile (from thrift store) -- $4

    So, quite a bit for spending right around $10.

    Just wanted to suggest for the baby clothes to put up a sign at your local grocery store. I've had GREAT luck with this with people who had tons but didn't want the hassle of a garage sale and buying "bulk", i.e. asking "what will you take for the whole box of 12 to 18 mos. old stuff?" was much cheaper than buying things individually. I've had great fun buying for my little guy, age 17 mos., but as he's getting bigger, the boondoggles sp? of great buys are a bit less as kids seem to wear out clothes more at this age.
