Freecycle coincidence
Dh called me today to ask if he should get a wood cutting permit for $20. I agreed, but it turned out that they aren't issuing permits until fire danger is lower.
So, I called DH and asked if I should post a 'wanted firewood' on freecycle.
He reluctantly agreed.
I couldn't figure out how to do the freecycle post, so I went to the web site to look it up.
And then I saw the message: OFFER ... FIREWOOD.
Isn't that amazing!? Just wanted I needed -- and I didn't even post about it!
Yes, someone had cut down some trees on their lot -- and they were giving away the wood.
We got out there and brought home a trailer load!

Yes! And it was on the website but hadn't been sent out to the email list yet. After I wrote back to say, "I'll take it," the email arrived.

I love freecycle. The deals can be great.
My other daughter had a 3 piece entertainment unit that we listed on Freecycle. The very first person to email me back, got it. Boy did they get a deal!

That is great! I never get in on anything on Freecycle! LOL!
because I was going by my email instead of checking on the site!
It's amazing how things work out sometimes!
