    Thumbs up Woohoo--thrift store steals!

My sister called me yesterday and asked if I wanted to hit our local thrift store with her. I almost didn't go; thank heavens I did!

The clothes and shoes were half price and I found each DS a t-shirt. But, I wandered to the back of the store where the odds and ends are...and hit the jackpot!!!

I have an Oreck vaccum that uses very expensive bags--about $2.00 EACH. I was almost out and dreaded buying more. Well, I found NINETEEN of them for 3.40 total!!!! I spent 5.65 and cleaned up!!! Yippeeeeee!

WTG! I love stories like this!

BTW, ebay can be a good place for vacuum bags. I think I pay around $35 for 25 bags for my riccar vacuum -- instead of the $50 retail price.

    Wink

I just love it when people find great usable bargains. I will have to remember to write down the size of bags for ours and my daughters--I always forget. Thanks.
