    Default I hit THREE thrift shops today!!!! And the library used book store!

    Two were run out of church basements; I was the Old Faithful near my grocery store:

    #1 - Methodist church ($14):

    2 framed mirrors w/ nursery designs etched on them ($5) [DD thought they could make nice baby gifts.]
    6 hardbound children's books + 2 paperback books ($3)
    ceramic teapot shaped like abookshop ($2)
    ball of twine ($1)
    rack for holding vertical items ($1)
    kids chose some toys ($2)

    #2 - Episcopal church ($8.50)

    baseball cap ($0.50)
    4 soup bowl w/ lids ($2)
    yarn holder ($2)
    bag o' miscellaneous stationary ($1)
    Northern Reflections vest for me ($1)
    long undies for DD ($2)

    #3 library book sale -- children's art book ($2)

    #4 - local thrift store ($6):

    box of misc artist supplies (some charcoal; a few prismacolors)
    25 paperback children's books focusing on different states
    5 miscellaneous children's books
    large square-bottomed Tupperware container.

    DD really liked the teapot. It's rectangular, like a shop, not rounded.

    I was thrilled with the 25 State books. We homeschool, and that will be great for geography!
