Thumbs up Score at my library today

I went to pick up some books that I had requested from other libraries, and on my way out, what do I spy in the "free books" box?

Janet Lurhs' The Simple Living Guide

The back cover is in rough shape, but other than that it is just fine. Score!

You did score. That book is in the top three of my all time favorites. I'm sure you'll enjoy it for years to come.

I did a double take. I walked by it, saw it out of the corner of my eye, looked again. Then I went to look at the box more closely. Sure enough, they were free! I read this one a while ago, and now I'm happy to own a copy
