    Default Are you sick of hearing about my thrifting bargains?

    I dragged teh kids with me to the thrift store before they closed at noon.

    And I spent $19:

    * 3 binders filled with 'Disney' cards in baseball card holder.
    * 5 children's books
    * 1 crockpot cookbook.
    * 1 breadmaker cookbook.
    * 1 small Tupperware container
    * 1 Gunne Sax dress (for DD to grow into)
    * 1 Elizabeth dress for me -- hope it fits
    * 1 pair of navy pants for me -- hope they fit
    * small marionette
    * 1 Texasopoly game. Unfortunately, it's not what I expected: I thougth it was Texas facts; instead it's UNIVERSITY OF Texas facts.
    * holder for an iron
    * straw hat for me
    * 4 handmade soaps
    * some paint can lids for DH
    * a jewelry box for DD

    I love reading about thrift store deals. You did great. I went and passed by all the clothes. lol I found three framed pictures for my bathroom, a nice doll and a dancing/singing Boots (Dora the Explorer) for Ally. The toys looked brand new and I'll be giving them to her for Christmas.

    I saw four Southen Living cookbooks and was on the fence and ended up not grabbing them.

    Oh, I LOVE hearing about all your great deals. Believe it or not, it actually helps me to not spend money. When I see what great deals you got, It stops me from going to the retail store to buy more. I've been really good about limiting what I buy.

    I love going to the thrift store, what a way to stretch money.
