It's getting to be an addition!

Yesterday, DH was home sick, so I took the opportunity to sneak away for an hour.

I spent $13 and bought:

* zyliss food chopper. I have one and LOVE it. Here's the image:

* zippered tote bag
* 1 pair women's waterproof gloves (some wear)
* J Jill t-shirt
* Lands' End long-sleeve shirt
* black chiffon shell (tags cut out)
* J Jill sweater
* black dress

But, on Friday's bag sale day, I did even better.

$5 bought

* JH Collectibles wool blazer (alas; I'm too fat!)
* J Ashford wool sweater
* acrylic sweater for DD
* cotton sweater for DD
* Talbots long sleeve turtleneck
* Talbots short sleeve shirt
* ski hat
* Key Elements turtleneck
* 1 pair shorts
* red silk blouse
* ivory silk blouse
* Eileen Fisher black silk tank (Here's a link: http://store.nordstrom.com/product/...e=eileen_fisher_silk_matte_jersey_tank:115302)

I am thrilled. My allowance won't stretch to Talbots and Eileen Fisher. And I needed some dressy tops.

On the first day of bag sale, I did well, too. I spent $10; filled 2 bags:

* lovely terry velour ivory robe
* 2 sweaters for DD
* for me, 1 spring dress, 2 black print dresses, 2 denim dresses, and 1 silky skirt

[There were a few other things on the first bag day, but I didn't write them down, and now they're mixed in w/ the other laundry.]

But, I spent $28 total -- just about the price of that food chopper, if I had bought it in the mall!
