used shoes
Would you buy used shoes?
I get shoes all the time at the thrift stores. I spray them and polish them up. It doesn't bother me at all. Alex just got a pair of leather cowboy boots off e bay. I am looking at some as well.
How about you? Are used shoes too high on your ick factor?

Not too high on my ick factor, just need to be in good shape & cleanable.

I know some people can't even bring themselves to rent bowling shoes lol.~*Darlene*~

If they are in good shape...sure I'd buy em! I buy them all the time on ebay for the little one, and sell them too...so I don't think they are an ick factor for that many ppl! LOL

I used to have them on my ick factor but as I have gotten older they are no longer on it. If they are clean and in good shape with no odor, I will purchase them. I always spray some good disinfectant inside when I get them and put some antifungal powder in them and let them set for a few days before I ever wear them though. I like to kill anything that might be hanging out inside them.
I will buy bras and socks but panties are a definate no no. That is way to high on the ick factor.

ok here is my next question. I am looking for a good pair of cowboy boots on e bay for myself. I usually wear a size 9. Do I need to get a 9 1/2 for these?

I do not wear cowboy boots, however my dh lives in them. He wears a size 9 in tennis shoes and has to get a 9 1/2 in boots. Some boots are made different though, just make sure they will be wide enough for your feet.

Shoes are on my ick factor list... I can't bring myself to wear used shoes, unless they come from one of my sisters.
But, that just leaves better selections at the yard sales for those of you who do wear them.

Used shoes are not on my ick factor, however I no longer buy them because of health problems which causes much pain and my Chiropractor explained how your shoes conform to your foot and wear accordingly so that wearing someone elses shoes will throw you body out of wack.

I wouldn't mind wearing used shoes but I have preferences on the brands I wear in shoes. I like Bass Sandles and Reebok Tenny shoes. I have a wide foot and these brands come in a width that is comfortable for me. I do have some Sunday shoes I purchased used. They hurt my feet but I'm only wearing them three hours. They don't have the arch suport I like in a shoe.
