Question Are you choming at the bit for yard sales?

I love yard sales even when I don't spend anything. It's just fun to get out and watch people. However, yard sale season doesn't start here until the end of April or first part of May, depending on the weather.

I've got a really good local thrift store, so, nope. Not chomping.

They go pretty much year round here, but I haven't been in forever due to being pg and just not feeling like going. Now that wee one is here, I'm definitely looking forward to going once we get a good routine established and I've caught up on my sleep.

I had a dream about going garage-saleing the other nite, so I guess the answer to your question would be yes.

I am, just because we are looking for an entertainment center for the playroom and a larger bookcase for Julia's room. No one on freecycle seems to be getting rid of these two items, and we certainly aren't paying full price, or even sale price for them. So, we'll be patient and wait for a garage sale!

I can't wait for garage sale season to start either... This year I may even have one myself... Maybe... The community center is having a baby sale next weekend.. I may get a table and see what I can sell.. It is 7.00 a table and you can have as much as will fit on top of the table or go under the table... Even if I don't get a table I may go just to see what there is...

    I wasn't until I read this thread

It is probably a good thing we don't have any to go to right now as I am trying to save money. When they are active, my sis and I go every Saturday

I like to yard sale but really don't need to do so until I get rid of the clutter in my house. I used to buy all my kids clothes at yard sales. They don't want me picking out their clothes now so that's out. I loved picked up things for under a dollar.

No, I don't go to yard sales. I am trying to get rid of stuff in my home, not bring more in.

Yes, I can't wait. You see, I have been in a garage sale "wasteland" in this more rural area of northern California for almost 4 years. It's been the pits! We'll be moving to a bonafide city by the next garage sale season, so I hope to get back in the swing.
