    Default Scored at the sales!

Yesterday our local thrift stores ahd 50% off sales (for President's Day). Here's what I got:

    24 wide-mouth pint canning jars for $3.50
    10 candlesticks (5 red, 5 green) $1.50
    Sweat pants for dd $1.50
Sweat suit (pant & zipper jacket) for dd $3.50
3 piece outfit (pants, tank top & cardigan) for dd $3.50
    swim suit for dd $1.50
    swim suit for me $1.50
bowling shoes for me $2.50 (less than a single shoe rental! - we've been going 2 or 3 times a month)
Rollerblades, full pads & a carry case for dd $9
    a Sit & Spin (remember those? ) for $1.50
An odd homemade pet carrier that is made of mesh (with a wooden base) for $5 (I will use this to grow vegetable starts where the cat won't eat them - he eats all plants)

I'm very happy and just wanted to share.

    Yahoo! You did awesome!

    24 wide-mouth pint canning jars for $3.50
I have to comment on this. I was selling the same at my yard sale and I wanted $3.00 for them. This rude woman(her attitude was rude) asked me if I'd take a $1.00 for all of them. I said no. She said she could get them for $1.00 every day! Later I realized they were my last extra jars so I pulled them out of the sale, lol.

Oh those sit-n-spins are so much fun! Enjoy all your grea stuff!
