    Default junk sale find

well we were in need of a toddler bed for my son. i looked at the furniture store for one and they run about 100 bucks. i didn't know if i REALLY wanted to spend that much on a frame when i dont know if he's actually going to sleep in this bed or not. we were on our way to a bday party yesterday and i drove by this junk sale in the middle of this town. granted, ive never really bought anything at a junk sale or even a garage sale. i admit, if i bought anything, i bought it new until i started on my road to frugality. i dont know how i even saw it, but stuffed under this make shift table at this junk sale was a toddler bed. since it needed to be cleaned off and the screws tightened, the lady sold it to me for 35 dollars. i still have to buy a mattress, but 35 is better then 100 anyday. makes me wonder what other good deals i've been missing out on all these years!

Yep, watch out.....it's addictive! Maybe you can find another crib mattress at a garage sale.

Good for you! My guess is you'll soon be stopping the car for other sales. It's like a treasure hunt.
