    Default My exciting finds

Today on our local freecycle a lady was giving away two queen anne wingback armchairs- and I got them! They are in wonderful condition, but they due need recovered (which I'm hoping to do myself). I looked online just to get an idea of what these chairs normally cost, and many places sell them for about $300! I don't have that kind of money for a chair, but I can certainly do free!

Wow, great find. I saw on another board, a long time ago where a woman "painted" hers to look like leather. They turned out amazingly well even thought it sounds really weird. WTG on getting those.

Remind me to tell you about our "new" bookcase. Some of your luck finding things must be rubbing off on me too!

    Great find!

I also got a pair of wing back chairs on Freecycle. Mine need to be recovered only because of a few discolorations, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Soon, though, I swear.
