I went on Fri. and Sat. for the first big garage-saling foray of the summer for me.
    I got:
~an evening wear type skirt and top set new with tags-.50
    ~a denimn skirt-.50
    ~a Cherokee brand burgundy sweater-.50
~a red, white and blue (really cute) broomstick skirt-.50
    ~2 purses-.50
    ~new pink flip flops-.50
    ~really cute dress-.50
This was all at a church sponsored sale, had the best prices of the day.
    At other sales I got:
~a new yogurt maker (-minus the instruction booklet will contact manufacturer for one, fingers crossed) $4
~4 collectable beer steins for $1 for the larger ones, .25 for the small avon one
~books, nice hardback ones for an average of .50 ea. (got about 10-12)
~a plastic bin with drawers (small) for my jewelry organization
~a lampshade for a candle jar, with a rooster on it and it looks a lot like my canisters
~a cute square copper box which I'm using to hold napkins on my bar, $2 (I overpaid for that....oh well)
~Bath and bodyworks "Holiday shimmer gel" .75 (has a 10.50 price tag on it)
~birdhouse to replace the delapadated one on my hanger out front $3 (it's a nice big one)
    ~small, cosmetic bag .25
~small tube of handcream .05 ( for the car)
~med. size, cut glass bowl .50
~nice, brass light fixture (new in box) for mom and dad's new house $5
~smoker for Gripey (he'd been wanting one for ages) $10 (new they are $89)
~a very nice Mikasa lead crystal bowl (fairly large) $10 (I overpaid for garage sale prices but got a good buy on a beautiful bowl to use at parties and showers)
Wow, I had a great time! Looking forward to next weekend.

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

You might check the mfgr's web site for the instruciton manual on that yogurt maker. Or google something like 'salton yogurt instructions'.
