Default Library bookstore ... score on kids' biographies

    Library Bookstore Score!

While the kids were in an enrichment class this afternoon, I stopped by the library bookstore.

The library had withdrawn a bunch of books from the Childhood of Famous Americans series. Some were even published before I was born.

    Books like

    Allan Pinkerton, Young Detective
    George Carver, Boy Scientist
Will and Charlie Mayo, Boy Doctors
    William Fargo, Boy Mail Carrier
    Maria Mitchell, Girl Astronomer
    John D. Rockefeller, Boy Financier

I bought 35 books from the series ! And a few other children's books.

    My cost: $8.00

You got a great deal! Our main library also has a bookstore. Of course, it's downtown around 17 miles away so I generally wait for our branch library to hold their book sale every 3 months or so. There's always such great bargains there.
