Yard Sale Pricing
I need a little help from some of you great folks. I am having a yard sale this weekend and need help pricing a couple of items. I have a breast pump that has only been used twice and several pairs of curtains that I am not sure how to price.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!!Robbin

Here's a thought -- look in the flyers this week and clip out similar looking products with the prices on them. Then tape that to the items. When people see what the price of the item is brand new, they're more likely to buy your items for considerably cheaper.
I'm not sure what to price those items for, but if you see the price of it brand new, you can get a better idea of what your price should be.

I've always looked at it this way. How much do I want to get rid of this thing?
Do I want it around or do I want a few more dollars in my pocket? Did you buy the items? How much are you out on them? Was it a gift or second hand item?

My thing is this at garage sales.....I will hardly ever pay more than $5 for a working, in great condition appliance of any kind. About the curtains, depending on the size ofcourse and how up to date they are....? I'd say no more than about $10 if you have one window's worth or say $15 for 2 windows of the same, very nice, trendy type curtains. Then I'd be prepared to come down.

I'm always the same way when I have a sale, the point isn't to get rich, it's to get rid.
