Default At the thrift store, earlier in the week

I found a very nice, ecru, not quite banquet lenght but almost in perfect condition antique linen table cloth for a whopping $2.50. I was thrilled!

~My thrift stores are loaded with linens so they go for similar prices here. I purchased a $2.50 tablecloth myself this month. It's not an antique, but that's better for me. I don't feel I have to be nice to it. Are you planning to use yours on Thanksgiving?~

I probably won't use this one for Thanksgiving b/c I have a really pretty Thanksgiving tablecloth that I found on clearance a few years ago. It just fits my table and has lots of fall leaves on it. This one is actually too big for my table but I use lots of tablecloths in giving wedding and baby showers. I can never have too many.

~Leaves?Sounds pretty! I really ought to be making my linens instead of buying them. I have oodles of fabric.~

The thrift stores around here put antique stores prices on their stuff. Can't expect to find any bargains like you found.
