Default little local thrift store shopping

    I spent $25, but I think I got a fair amount:

    • nice poster with a metal frame. ($10)
new-in-pkg needlepoint kit to make a cell phone holder ($2)
      new cross-stitch kit
      4 cotton placemats
cotton pillowcase for a floor pillow
      embroidered pillowcase
      large coffee mug
      top to a baby quilt
about 2 yards of blue cotton fabric
      Eddie Bauer shirt
      small wooden picture frame
nice vest with shell buttons (unfortunately, it's too small)

You did very well with your $25. As far as the vest not fitting if it has pretty buttons I will take the buttons off and use on another garment.

That's a lot of stuff for $25. I think you did well for the money, if you can't find someone who wants the vest maybe you can use the vest to salvage buttons and scrap fabric and thread.

Ebay item #150002093798 is the exact same vest. Mine has the 'J Marco Galleries' label, but it's not nwt. And it doesn't have any other labels.

I might just keep the buttons. And the fabric would be pretty for something too.
