Salvation Army finds.
I cant believe I forgot to post this. Went to the Salvation Army a week ago. Ds#1 want to look for a denim Jacket. He didnt find what he wanted but here is what I found.
A brand new, tags still on wool cape (like the ones that are in stores now) from Woolrich mills. Beige with a small design along the bottom. Original price 149.99 Salvation army price 7.00
A couple of pairs of black pants for DS #2 to wear to work 4.00 each
The best part is when I got to the check out all womens and mens clothing with a white tag was 50% off. Everything I bought had a white tag so I got everything for 7.50.
I thought that was pretty good.

I just found a salvation army store today. It isn't very far away either. I almost went but I already hit the thrift shops this week so I'll wait until next week.

I get books there. They're often almost new and only $2

WTG! Isn't it funny how you go to the thrift store looking for a specific item, but find something else that you didn't even know you were looking for. Or maybe it finds us!

I used to love Salvation Army stores. I don't have on right nearby anymore. There used to be one in Brockton (MA) ... when I lived in that area that was huge. And they even had a big book section. When I was a kid, I used to go there all the time. We did some back-to-school shopping there, too.

You got some great deals, right around what a couple of gallons of gas would cost!!!
