finds at Goodwill
Was dropping a box of items off and wandered in, since I was there. I have several black suits for work, but I have been looking for a tan/brown one to mix it up a bit. Was not a "must have" but one would come in handy.
And as I posted last week, I found out my job is being eliminated, so I will be unemployed in a few months.......so I found a very nice suit that fits me perfectly and will be great for job interviews!
It is tan/camel colored with some pin striping, medium-weight wool/rayon/poly blend for year round wear. Perfect for my needs!
I also got a Nine West black microfiber large purse, & a Pierre Cardin silk/cotton blend cream colored light weight turtleneck (like-new condition) which will be perfect for the cold Maine winters to wear to work with some dressy pants. Spent a whopping $13....less then the price of a meal out. I came home and tried on the suit with various shirts with it, etc....it is the little things sometimes!!
Who says you need to spend a lot of $$$
to be well dressed!

Awesome buy! Seems the suit is a lucky find. I hope it holds it's charm while interviewing!

Good for you! I found two beautiful suits once upon a time at Goodwill....and then my husband put them in the WASHER. He was "helping."

That is great!
This last week I went to a second hand shop too...I found 6 pillows (4 of the same color, 2 of another but the same as eachother...funny thing is...they all had the same type of pattern)...I bought all of them for $11!! I also got my youngest daughter a winter coat, a rain/fall coat, black boots and a winter coat for my neighbors daughter (they just had a fire and lost a lot of items). Each of these items were practically brand new and they cost between $1.50 and $4.00! That is my favorite store!
