a good day at the thrift store
The kids and I went to Goodwill today. I found a blue spatterware roasting pan with lid for $5.99-- it's in great shape, and I've never owned a roasting pan (made due with foil ones when needed), so I was happy. Also, my kitchen is blue, and I have some other spatterware items.
I got myself a long denium skirt for $4, and a brand new game for the residents at work for $1.99.
Last but not least, my big thrill... a huge wooden divided display case (one with tiny compartments like a printer's box) for $1.99! I have wanted one of those printer's boxes forever, so I was really happy to see one for so cheap. I'm going to hang it up in the spare bedroom and use it to organize my rubber stamps.

Looks like it was your day to shop! You are not going to miss those foil pans, except maybe at cleaning time. You can cook, scrape up bits from the bottom to make gravy & store all in the same pan, good stuff. depending on the shape you can use it as 2 seperate pans if need be also. Enjoy all your loot!

Doncha just love days like that? Great deals! I'd love one of those cases, because I'm going cottage/country and I want to put miniatures in it.
