    Default Salvation Army frustration!

Our Salvation Army in Venice, FL has all its good priced in Sarasota. They say it's because the stores were all pricing goods different, and giving things to friend and family too cheap.

Anyway, I found the cutest clock today, with no tag. You could see where the tag had been pulled off. So they have to send it back to Sarasota to be priced, then call me and tell me how much it is. I hope they don't get crazy with the price. I'm not paying over $5 for it.

Oh how I know about this!! Employees do this, especially for themselves.

ya, what a waste of resources, time & money to ship something back to another location just to have it priced. You'd think thye could handle it differently. If they just have to have the main warehouse price it, what about taking a picture & e-mailing it? Maybe in the future.

I hear ya though. I once found a really nice silicone spatula that I had been keeping my eyes open for, but no price, so it had to go back to another location. At least they offered to contact you. They told me sorry nothing we can do. Hope they price it cheaply.

Thats silly. What a waist of money shipping that stuff around. I dont think the salvation army in my area does that becuase I have two differnt ones that I do to and one is priced differently then the other.

I love the way my favorit one prices. All pants are 2.00 no matter what the brand. The other one prices by brand name and condition.
