    Default Are you a "Freegan"??

The concept of "personal recycler" is often called dumpster diving or
scavanger ,which while correct, are so dismissive they do these folk's
    discredit.

The concept of sharing with others your bounty or cast offs to keep them
in use until gone is a good stewardship of the resources of the earth as
    well as "waste not...want not".

That said here is a site that details some of the "Freegan" ideas that
many here can use to help cut waste and want at the same time.

"Pride goes before the fall" we've all heard. Pride can also cost you
lots of money you can avoid spending.

Looks a little extreme, but it's a great site! I'm appalled at the amount of food that gets thrown away just because someone doesn't want the "liability" of giving it away.

Yes, the Freegan life can be considered "extreme" but from what
I've seen on this forum many could use "extreme" methods to better
their lives and stop all the needless worry over money.

Money worries can sap the life out of being alive. 'Taint worth it.
