    Default Thrift store finds

I wandered into the thrift store the other day to kill some time and they were having a $5 bag sale. I got a few nice pieces of clothes and some for my friend who has to dress very professionally for work in my 1 $5 bag. Then I also got a very nicely done, in great condition, old community quilt (you know the kind where the ladies of the quilt each do a block and put their names on it with embroidery) for $3.99. Also got a very nice (and works too) electric blanket for $3.99 as well. I was thrilled. Washed, hung dry and ready for use now.

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

I love bag sales! Most stores do the 5 dollar bag but I was lucky enough to find one that does 1.00 a bad no exclusions.

Great shopping deals, even something for your friend. How kind.

Great deal on the quilt. The ladies who made it are probably rolling in their graves that their quilt wound up in a thrift shop.
